It is nice to read someone sharing what for most of us is an incredibly private and personal thought. I think the world would benefit if those of us with financial resources (which let's face it is most folks in the United States) would have this conversation openly and often. By contrast, think how much time we spend discussing what we've bought, the meals we've eaten, etc. What we do and can do to make the world a better place ought to be a more frequent topic of casual discussion.
