I think there is a difference in disagreeing with your boss and not respecting your boss (For example I disagree with you but respect you). In case of disagreement, I think your point is correct, but consider for example that your boss is using your work to do something harmful to community (disrespect), or asking you to do something unethical, would your point still be valid?
