		<description>I missed this one before. It's good. I just read a line by Scott Fitzgerald. He advised writers to "murder their darlings". I hate to put that in a posting about babies but he was referring to little bits of acrobatic writing that pop out suddenly in a line and distract the reader. I loved the line about the baby looking at his own hands but it stood out so powerrfully I wondered if it fell under the "no fancy" ban and decided that it didn't. I think it answered the question posed by this little essay without providing a whole hearted solution to the problem.</description>
